Justin Bieber’s Reps Slam Rumors He’s in “Financial Distress”
Poo Bear just wants the best forJustin Bieber.
The producer and songwriter (real name Jason Paul Douglas Boyd) expressed his sympathy for the "Sorry" singer amid ongoing speculation about Justin's personal life.
"Whatever he’s going through," Poo Bear told The Hollywood Reporter as part of the outlet's investigative feature on Justin’s well-being published April 16. "I pray for him and hope he’s OK."
His show of support for the 31-year-old—who Poo Bear collaborated with on no less than four albums, co-writing several of Justin's number one hits like "Despacito (Remix)," "I'm the One," "Where Are Ü Now" and "What Do You Mean?"—comes amid rumors about Justin that have surfaced over the last several months, ranging from state of his and Hailey Bieber’s marriage and changes to his inner circle.
However, while The Hollywood Reporter’s lengthy piece details a number of the rumors pertaining to Justin’s well-being, including alleging financial troubles, his rep stressed that couldn’t be further from the truth.
“Any source that is trying to sell you a story about alleged financial distress,” the rep told the outlet, “either doesn’t understand the entertainment industry or, more likely, is trying to paint an unflattering portrait of Justin, which bears no resemblance to reality.”
A rep for Justin also told E! News that as he moves forward, "These unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But, they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”
Indeed, over the last several months Justin——who abruptly left his fashion brand Drew House after six years April 10—has sparked speculation with his online activity, especially pertaining to wife Hailey.
In addition to both of them having to clarify seemingly unfollowing one another on Instagram this year, the couple—who share 8-month-old son Jack Blues Bieber—have also both taken to social media to react to rumors that they're headed for divorce.

Less than a week before Hailey clarified that she hadn't unfollowed her husband on Instagram March 31, he posted a photo on Instagram of his wife putting up her middle finger March 27.
Earlier that month, the Rhode Beauty founder, who wed Justin in 2018, shared a cryptic quotethat seemed to address the gossip about her marriage.
"People take the information they’re fed and they draw a picture of who you are,” read a quote the 28-year-old shared to her Instagram Story March 17. “Most of the time, it’s wrong.”

The flurry of gossip comes a year after the modelposted a more definitive statementabout the constant scrutiny and conjecture about her relationship with Justin.
"Just FYI the stories and constant 'blind items' I see on Tik Tok are 100% of the time wrong," Hailey wrote on Instagram in March 2024. "Made out of thin air…Come from the land of delusion…So I know it may be fun feeding into these stories but just know they're always false."
