Timothy John Majchrowitz
June 3, 1945 — October 21, 2019
RACINE — Timothy John Majchrowitz, 74, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019, at Ascension All Saints Hospital.
Tim was born to the late Leo and Mildred (nee: Holzschuh) Majchrowitz on June 3, 1945, in Racine. He was united in marriage to Patricia Marie Adams on June 28, 1969, at St. Patrick’s Church in Racine.
Tim worked as a traffic manager at McGraw-Edison and then worked as a receiving and shipping supervisor at Western Publishing. He was a proud member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church. In his younger days, Tim loved playing softball. He was a lifelong fisherman, and often fished with his brother, brother-in-law, and cousin at his cabin on Lake Shishebogama. He shared his passion for fishing with everyone, but particularly his granddaughters by teaching them how to fish. Tim also enjoyed spending time on the lake where he taught his girls (Amy, Katie, and Liz) how to water ski. He was as an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan, watching the games whenever he could. Above all, Tim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin. He took great care of his family and cherished every moment he had with them.
Left to cherish Tim’s memory is his loving wife, Patricia Majchrowitz; daughters: Amy (Cameron) Malone and Katie Barrows; granddaughters: Makayla Barrows and Sophie Malone; sisters-in-law: Judy Majchrowitz and Carolyn (Bob) Rashlager; cousin-in-law, Audrey Klescewski; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Tim is preceded in death by his brother, Tom Majchrowitz; sisters: Joanne Majchrowitz and Julie Kipp; cousin, Stan “Butch” Klescewski; and nephew, Michael Majchrowitz.

John P. Melis
RACINE — On Oct 21st, 2019 John Melis passed away, at the age of 56. He had been extraordinarily courageous in battling several serious medical issues over the last few years. His quiet dignity and unflagging optimism were remarkable given the challenges he faced, and stand as a lesson in grace to us. It is our fervent hope that he is now in a better place. He is survived by his 3 brothers, Stuart, David, and Stephen, and niece Evelyn Melis. He was the son of Lloyd and Miriam Melis, who preceded him in death.
John was born in Barrington, Ill., and at an early age, the family moved to Racine. He attended school in Racine, graduating from Case HS, and later from Carthage College in Kenosha. He resided in Racine for the rest of his life. He worked in the food service industry until his untimely passing. John’s passions were the Green Bay Packers, listening to music, and doing word puzzles. He was a kind and gentle soul to everyone who knew him well.

Stephen W. Pallek
May 8, 1947 — October 23, 2019
Stephen W. Pallek age 72 from Wind Lake, born May 8, 1947 passed away at his home on October 23, 2019. Steve married Leslie (Wiseman) Pallek on January 10, 2002. Steve was employed at Continental Can for several years before moving on to LDV, Inc. where he was a woodworker. During his retirement years he enjoyed playing his guitar, going to jam sessions, woodworking, playing cribbage, shooting pool and fishing. Steve served his country in the Vietnam War from 1969-1971. He will be laid to rest at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by a brother Louis Pallek, two sisters Dolores (Joe) Granet, Florence Dierking, children Ronald (Emily) Pallek, Dawn (Jaime) Townsend, Tara Borton, grandchildren Brent (Gabriella) Townsend, Brandon Townsend, Nolen, Ena and Kale Borton.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Joanna and Helen, his parents Stephen and Johanna (Cervin) Pallek and his stepson Eric (Tammy) Armstrong.
A celebration of Steve’s life will take place on Monday October 28th, 2019 at Integrity Celebration Center. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 5pm.

RACINE — Robert Jesse (Larsen) Itzenhuiser, 76, passed into Eternal Life on Sunday, October 20, 2019, with his family by his side.
In addition to his wife Karen of 56 years, he is survived by his children, Laurie (Gary) Kis of Racine, Jody (Stan) Kropidlowski of Green Bay, Michael Itzenhuiser and Jason Itzenhuiser, both of Racine.

Herbert A. "Herb" Goldschmidt
November 20, 1932 — October 23, 2019
Age 86, of Burlington passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. He was born November 20, 1932 to August and Freida (nee Bippes) Goldschmidt in Chicago, IL. His early life was spent in Chicago where he graduated from high school.
On May 9, 1953 he was united in marriage to Lois Rohde in Chicago, IL. Lois passed away March 24, 2017. Following their marriage, they made their home in Chicago before moving to Burlington in 1959 where they raised their family. Herb was a City of Burlington Policeman for 32 years, retiring on May 3, 1992. Working his way up the ranks serving as a patrolman, sergeant, captain, shift commander and assistant chief before the Police and Fire Commission selected him as Chief of Police. Noting a few of the many highlights of his career, he diligently worked to bring the 911 service and Flight for Life to the Burlington community. He assisted in apprehending a murderer in 1964, was appointed to the 83rd Session of the FBI National Academy in Washington, D.C. Herb also served on the National Guard and attended Grace Church. He enjoyed woodworking and traveling. But more than anything he loved spending time with his family.
Herb is survived by his children, Herb Jr. (Debbie) Goldschmidt, Brad (Wendy) Goldschmidt, Karen Maus, Scott (Terri) Goldschmidt, Ronald (Wendy) Goldschmidt, Jeffrey Goldschmidt and Timothy Goldschmidt; 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his special friend Ginny Weber other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
The family has suggested memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 234 W. Florida St. Milwaukee, WI 53204 .
Herb’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Burlington Rescue Squad, Aurora Burlington Hospital ER and Lakeland Hospital 2nd Floor Nursing staff for all their care and compassion.

William "Bill" M. Stevens
February 22, 1969 — October 18, 2019
SALEM — (formerly of Racine) William “Bill” McGarry Stevens, age 50, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic automobile accident in Costa Rica on Friday, October 18, 2019. Bill and Cyndi, his beloved wife of nearly 30 years, were on vacation with 3 other couples when the taxi they were in was struck by an intoxicated truck driver.
Bill was born in Mobile, Ala., on February 22, 1969 to the late Roger and Elizabeth (nee: McGarry) Stevens. He was a 1988 graduate of St. Catherine’s High School. At age 17, Bill started dating the love of his life, Cynthia Ann (nee: Falendysz). They were married at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Racine on June 22, 1991 with dreams of growing old together.
Bill had a profound work ethic; he was owner of Custom Express, an agent for Freight Force in Milwaukee, providing local airfreight and delivery services. Bill was a devoted husband and loving father who always put his family first.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his beautiful daughters, Victoria and Paige. He was a loving brother to his sisters, Margaret “Meg” (Shane) Stevens Ladner and Courtney Stevens Chiapetta as well as son-in-law to Henrietta Falendysz, brother-in-law to Gary (Cindy) Falendysz, Gene (Sue) Falendysz, Greg Falendysz, and Tim Falendysz. Bill was preceded in death by his father Roger and mother Elizabeth, father-in-law Eugene L. Falendysz Sr., and entered into eternal life with his friends, Andrew and Jennifer Niemiec, as a result of the accident.
A visitation celebrating Bill’s life will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2019 12:00 at Draeger- Langendorf Funeral Home. Just as Bill would like it, wear your Packer gear or green and gold. Remember, it is not Brewers season, so no baseball gear. We will end visitation at 3:00 so everyone can head to a local bar for a Packer Party in Bill’s honor. Guests may donate drinks or appetizers for the party upon arrival. A short visitation beginning at 9:30 am followed by Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. will be held Monday, November 4, 2019 at Saint Rita’s Church, 4339 Douglas Avenue in Caledonia, and a reception will follow.

Joseph Felix McCauley
October 21, 1932 — October 24, 2019
Joseph Felix McCauley, age 87, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at his residence. Felix was born in Tiskilwa, Ill., October 21, 1932, son of the late James Edwin and Alma (Nee: Lamkin) McCauley.
After graduating from St. Bede Academy in Peru, Illinois, Felix proudly served as a Corporal in the United States Army for a tour of active duty, stationed in Japan.
On May 30, 1959, Felix was united in marriage to the love of his life, Julie Henkel. Felix and Julie moved to Racine in 1968, where they raised their family of six children. Felix was a faithful and active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for more than 50 years. Felix expressed his love of music by singing in choirs and shared his musical talent with so many throughout the years. He developed lifelong friendships at Sacred Heart and in the Racine community with Racine Dairy Statesmen Church Singers and at Franciscan Villa where Julie lived out her final years.
Felix proudly served others as the General Manager of the Racine Catholic Cemeteries until his retirement in 1996. After retirement, Felix was a Commissioner on the Caledonia Utility District for 13 years. He and Julie volunteered at the Racine Food Pantry and Felix donated blood for those in need.
Felix had a love of sports as an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks and Bulls. He enjoyed golfing and spent many wonderful hours golfing with family and friends in the Ives Grove Golf League.
Above all, Felix left a legacy of love, faith and family. He and Julie were extremely proud of their children and grandchildren. He was beloved for his warm smiles, big laugh and bear hugs.
Felix will be dearly missed by his six children, Donna (Jon) DeGroot, Ann (Tony) Barriere, Lori (Jim) Komas, David (Kim Gage) McCauley, Steven (Melanie Flynn) McCauley, Alan (Katie Baumgardt) McCauley; 14 cherished grandchildren; Max and Gabrielle Barriere, Will and Drew Komas, Patrick (Amanda), Regan, Norah and Erin McCauley, Cassidy, Alanna and Miranda McCauley and Adalyn Tangredi (Dominic), Clare and John McCauley; as well as his sisters Catherine Murphy and Mary Alma Kuebel, sister-in-law, Mary McCauley; many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Felix was preceded in death by his wife, Julie; parents, James and Alma; sister Lola (Harold) Stanard; brothers, Jim (Goldie), Oscar and Al; brothers-in-law, Garylord Murphy and Joe Kuebel; niece Tracie McCauley; nephew Bruce McCauley and many other cherished relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Ave, on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Ricardo Martin officiating. Private interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy. 32. Mark John Schiesl
January 5, 1960 — October 22, 2019
Mark John Schiesl, 59, of Campbellsport, previously of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at Froedtert Hospital of Milwaukee, after his battle with cancer.
Born in Kenosha on January 5, 1960, he was the son of the late Jack and Mary Lou (Wickersheim) Schiesl. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha..After high school, Mark was employed by AMC/Chrysler and retired after 30 years.
Mark was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, and riding dirt bikes, ATVs, snowmobiles, bicycles, and motorcycles. He was adventurous and could be found scavenging the area for items he found interesting.
Surviving Mark is his son, Chase; three brothers, Dave, Greg, and Terry Schiesl; and other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Aside from his parents, Mark is preceded in death by a brother, Rick Schiesl.
A celebration of life will occur at Proko Funeral Home on Saturday, November 2, 2019, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Interment will be private.

Timothy John Majchrowitz

RACINE — Timothy John Majchrowitz, 74, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019, at Ascension All Saints Hospital.
Tim was born to the late Leo and Mildred (nee: Holzschuh) Majchrowitz on June 3, 1945, in Racine. He was united in marriage to Patricia Marie Adams on June 28, 1969, at St. Patrick’s Church in Racine.
Tim worked as a traffic manager at McGraw-Edison and then worked as a receiving and shipping supervisor at Western Publishing. He was a proud member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church. In his younger days, Tim loved playing softball. He was a lifelong fisherman, and often fished with his brother, brother-in-law, and cousin at his cabin on Lake Shishebogama. He shared his passion for fishing with everyone, but particularly his granddaughters by teaching them how to fish. Tim also enjoyed spending time on the lake where he taught his girls (Amy, Katie, and Liz) how to water ski. He was as an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan, watching the games whenever he could. Above all, Tim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin. He took great care of his family and cherished every moment he had with them.
Left to cherish Tim’s memory is his loving wife, Patricia Majchrowitz; daughters: Amy (Cameron) Malone and Katie Barrows; granddaughters: Makayla Barrows and Sophie Malone; sisters-in-law: Judy Majchrowitz and Carolyn (Bob) Rashlager; cousin-in-law, Audrey Klescewski; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Tim is preceded in death by his brother, Tom Majchrowitz; sisters: Joanne Majchrowitz and Julie Kipp; cousin, Stan “Butch” Klescewski; and nephew, Michael Majchrowitz.

RACINE — On Oct 21st, 2019 John Melis passed away, at the age of 56. He had been extraordinarily courageous in battling several serious medical issues over the last few years. His quiet dignity and unflagging optimism were remarkable given the challenges he faced, and stand as a lesson in grace to us. It is our fervent hope that he is now in a better place. He is survived by his 3 brothers, Stuart, David, and Stephen, and niece Evelyn Melis. He was the son of Lloyd and Miriam Melis, who preceded him in death.
John was born in Barrington, Ill., and at an early age, the family moved to Racine. He attended school in Racine, graduating from Case HS, and later from Carthage College in Kenosha. He resided in Racine for the rest of his life. He worked in the food service industry until his untimely passing. John’s passions were the Green Bay Packers, listening to music, and doing word puzzles. He was a kind and gentle soul to everyone who knew him well.

Stephen W. Pallek age 72 from Wind Lake, born May 8, 1947 passed away at his home on October 23, 2019. Steve married Leslie (Wiseman) Pallek on January 10, 2002. Steve was employed at Continental Can for several years before moving on to LDV, Inc. where he was a woodworker. During his retirement years he enjoyed playing his guitar, going to jam sessions, woodworking, playing cribbage, shooting pool and fishing. Steve served his country in the Vietnam War from 1969-1971. He will be laid to rest at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by a brother Louis Pallek, two sisters Dolores (Joe) Granet, Florence Dierking, children Ronald (Emily) Pallek, Dawn (Jaime) Townsend, Tara Borton, grandchildren Brent (Gabriella) Townsend, Brandon Townsend, Nolen, Ena and Kale Borton.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Joanna and Helen, his parents Stephen and Johanna (Cervin) Pallek and his stepson Eric (Tammy) Armstrong.
A celebration of Steve’s life will take place on Monday October 28th, 2019 at Integrity Celebration Center. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 5pm.

Herbert A. "Herb" Goldschmidt
November 20, 1932 — October 23, 2019
Age 86, of Burlington passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. He was born November 20, 1932 to August and Freida (nee Bippes) Goldschmidt in Chicago, IL. His early life was spent in Chicago where he graduated from high school.
On May 9, 1953 he was united in marriage to Lois Rohde in Chicago, IL. Lois passed away March 24, 2017. Following their marriage, they made their home in Chicago before moving to Burlington in 1959 where they raised their family. Herb was a City of Burlington Policeman for 32 years, retiring on May 3, 1992. Working his way up the ranks serving as a patrolman, sergeant, captain, shift commander and assistant chief before the Police and Fire Commission selected him as Chief of Police. Noting a few of the many highlights of his career, he diligently worked to bring the 911 service and Flight for Life to the Burlington community. He assisted in apprehending a murderer in 1964, was appointed to the 83rd Session of the FBI National Academy in Washington, D.C. Herb also served on the National Guard and attended Grace Church. He enjoyed woodworking and traveling. But more than anything he loved spending time with his family.
Herb is survived by his children, Herb Jr. (Debbie) Goldschmidt, Brad (Wendy) Goldschmidt, Karen Maus, Scott (Terri) Goldschmidt, Ronald (Wendy) Goldschmidt, Jeffrey Goldschmidt and Timothy Goldschmidt; 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his special friend Ginny Weber other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
The family has suggested memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 234 W. Florida St. Milwaukee, WI 53204 .
Herb’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Burlington Rescue Squad, Aurora Burlington Hospital ER and Lakeland Hospital 2nd Floor Nursing staff for all their care and compassion.

William "Bill" M. Stevens
February 22, 1969 — October 18, 2019
SALEM — (formerly of Racine) William “Bill” McGarry Stevens, age 50, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic automobile accident in Costa Rica on Friday, October 18, 2019. Bill and Cyndi, his beloved wife of nearly 30 years, were on vacation with 3 other couples when the taxi they were in was struck by an intoxicated truck driver.
Bill was born in Mobile, Ala., on February 22, 1969 to the late Roger and Elizabeth (nee: McGarry) Stevens. He was a 1988 graduate of St. Catherine’s High School. At age 17, Bill started dating the love of his life, Cynthia Ann (nee: Falendysz). They were married at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Racine on June 22, 1991 with dreams of growing old together.
Bill had a profound work ethic; he was owner of Custom Express, an agent for Freight Force in Milwaukee, providing local airfreight and delivery services. Bill was a devoted husband and loving father who always put his family first.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his beautiful daughters, Victoria and Paige. He was a loving brother to his sisters, Margaret “Meg” (Shane) Stevens Ladner and Courtney Stevens Chiapetta as well as son-in-law to Henrietta Falendysz, brother-in-law to Gary (Cindy) Falendysz, Gene (Sue) Falendysz, Greg Falendysz, and Tim Falendysz. Bill was preceded in death by his father Roger and mother Elizabeth, father-in-law Eugene L. Falendysz Sr., and entered into eternal life with his friends, Andrew and Jennifer Niemiec, as a result of the accident.
A visitation celebrating Bill’s life will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2019 12:00 at Draeger- Langendorf Funeral Home. Just as Bill would like it, wear your Packer gear or green and gold. Remember, it is not Brewers season, so no baseball gear. We will end visitation at 3:00 so everyone can head to a local bar for a Packer Party in Bill’s honor. Guests may donate drinks or appetizers for the party upon arrival. Joseph Felix McCauley
October 21, 1932 — October 24, 2019
Joseph Felix McCauley, age 87, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at his residence. Felix was born in Tiskilwa, Ill., October 21, 1932, son of the late James Edwin and Alma (Nee: Lamkin) McCauley.
After graduating from St. Bede Academy in Peru, Illinois, Felix proudly served as a Corporal in the United States Army for a tour of active duty, stationed in Japan.
On May 30, 1959, Felix was united in marriage to the love of his life, Julie Henkel. Felix and Julie moved to Racine in 1968, where they raised their family of six children. Felix was a faithful and active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for more than 50 years. Felix expressed his love of music by singing in choirs and shared his musical talent with so many throughout the years. He developed lifelong friendships at Sacred Heart and in the Racine community with Racine Dairy Statesmen Church Singers and at Franciscan Villa where Julie lived out her final years.
Felix proudly served others as the General Manager of the Racine Catholic Cemeteries until his retirement in 1996. After retirement, Felix was a Commissioner on the Caledonia Utility District for 13 years. He and Julie volunteered at the Racine Food Pantry and Felix donated blood for those in need.
Felix had a love of sports as an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks and Bulls. He enjoyed golfing and spent many wonderful hours golfing with family and friends in the Ives Grove Golf League.
Above all, Felix left a legacy of love, faith and family. He and Julie were extremely proud of their children and grandchildren. He was beloved for his warm smiles, big laugh and bear hugs.
Felix will be dearly missed by his six children, Donna (Jon) DeGroot, Ann (Tony) Barriere, Lori (Jim) Komas, David (Kim Gage) McCauley, Steven (Melanie Flynn) McCauley, Alan (Katie Baumgardt) McCauley; 14 cherished grandchildren; Max and Gabrielle Barriere, Will and Drew Komas, Patrick (Amanda), Regan, Norah and Erin McCauley, Cassidy, Alanna and Miranda McCauley and Adalyn Tangredi (Dominic), Clare and John McCauley; as well as his sisters Catherine Murphy and Mary Alma Kuebel, sister-in-law, Mary McCauley; many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Felix was preceded in death by his wife, Julie; parents, James and Alma; sister Lola (Harold) Stanard; brothers, Jim (Goldie), Oscar and Al; brothers-in-law, Garylord Murphy and Joe Kuebel; niece Tracie McCauley; nephew Bruce McCauley and many other cherished relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Ave, on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Ricardo Martin officiating. Mark John Schiesl, 59, of Campbellsport, previously of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at Froedtert Hospital of Milwaukee, after his battle with cancer.
Born in Kenosha on January 5, 1960, he was the son of the late Jack and Mary Lou (Wickersheim) Schiesl. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha..After high school, Mark was employed by AMC/Chrysler and retired after 30 years.
Mark was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, and riding dirt bikes, ATVs, snowmobiles, bicycles, and motorcycles. He was adventurous and could be found scavenging the area for items he found interesting.
Surviving Mark is his son, Chase; three brothers, Dave, Greg, and Terry Schiesl; and other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Aside from his parents, Mark is preceded in death by a brother, Rick Schiesl.
A celebration of life will occur at Proko Funeral Home on Saturday, November 2, 2019, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
